Joanna is a performer, choreographer and educator with a passion for Musical Theatre.

She spent two years singing and dancing as Bride of Frankenstein in the MONSTER ROCK SHOW (Universal Studios Singapore), then returned home and portrayed Marilyn Monroe and various other characters (Movie World.)

Other professional engagements include SPAMALOT and OKLAHOMA at QPAC, and a Philippines Princess tour (Pen 2 Stage). Some of Jo's favourite roles to date include Velma (CHICAGO - Savoyards) and Reno (ANYTHING GOES - Beenleigh).

Screen credits include a feature role on Channel Nine’s children’s show THE SHAK.

Jo is a qualified teacher with a Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Education (Drama / Dance). She currently teaches performing arts at various schools for all ages, and is passionate about assisting those with special needs to access the arts.

She is the choreographer for a performance group for children called Sport Starz, where she loves sharing the joy of sport, song, dance and fitness with kids and their families.

Jo is really excited to be part of the Lord Mayor's Seniors Cabaret program and can’t wait to see all the participants shine!
